RegistryFix offers quite a bit of protection and repair options for your computer. It just does not have enough protection and Advanced Features to make it the best.
RegistryFix:
- Scan for missing file associations, missing DLL files, missing help files, and more - Startup Manager - Add/Remove Program Manager

The Good
RegistryFix checks for a fairly large amount errors. It actually does a rather good job of scanning for, locating, and repairing all of the registry errors. The scanning process is labeled and detailed very well. You will be able to know exactly what type of error is being searched for, where it is searching at, and how many have been found at all times.
The advanced options allow you access to some more features than some of the competition, but not quite as much as the rest. This explains partly why this program is left in the middle of the pack. All of the features are explained in detail, this was really an excellent bonus, because it leaves no questions about what each feature can do for your computer.
The Bad
Although it does protect from a moderately great amount of errors, it still does not offer as much protection as many of the other programs. Even though it is great that the program has an "Advanced Options" feature, the Advanced Options are lacking when compared to the other programs that offer the Advanced Options feature. While most programs with the Advanced tab offer a wide array of different options, RegistryFix only offers four extra features; one of them being a Backup Utility, which needs to be included in all of the programs either way and actually is not an Advanced feature at all.
The Bottom Line
While RegistryFix does a decent job, it does not do near enough to make it the best program available. The "Advanced Options" really aren't advanced options at all and are actually kind of a joke. The amount of detail in the instructions is really helpful because it makes sure that nobody is confused and can complete everything with ease. Overall, this product does have some definite positive attributes, just not enough.
