RegClean is a fairly comprehensive Registry scanning program. It definitely has a lot to offer, but did not make the cut as the top program.

Detailed Ratings

The Good RegClean will check your system for a vast amount of problems and errors. It was very quick and efficient at getting our system repaired and running smoothly. The scanning process is very detailed. It shows exactly what is being scanned for, where it is being scanned, and how many errors have been found for each different type of problem.

RegClean is very user friendly and can be run by even the some of the most technically challenged people. The design is very smooth and really makes it look like a Grade A product. The ability to set automatic updates is also a great advantage. There are a lot of people that prefer to take care of updates on their own, but for those of you that don't want to have to deal with it, you can just adjust it to your preferences.
The Bad First thing I noticed with RegClean was a very large lack of features. I actually found myself searching for more, before finally asking myself, "That's it?" It gets the job done for scanning and repairing the registry, but there is not one extra feature in this. While it does scan for a large amount of errors, it does not scan for quite as many as some of the competition's programs.
The Bottom Line RegClean will take care of most of yours errors, getting your computer almost back up to normal speed. However, odds are, you don't want to purchase "Å“almost." It definitely had some good aspects, such as the user friendliness, but not near enough to put it on top. If you would like to see which program has it all and some, then take a look at Registry Easy.
