The Good: Rocket French is the ultimate product if you want to learn the French language quickly and effectively. Not only is there a 60 day No Questions Asked guarantee, but there is also a six day trial version available. Lessons are very in depth and cover everything from the basics to lessons for long time French speakers wanting to learn more.

Lessons are taught by text, pictures, charts, and audio so that you are learning to speak French, but also to read and write it as well. Rocket French lessons progress at a pace that will let you learn quickly, but still get professional quality training that is easy to understand.

Not only are the lessons top notch, but there is also a members area that will let you ask questions and practice what you learn with other people. This interactive community is one of the greatest learning tools available for those needing help or just wanting to meet people with the same interests. Mini-games come with the purchase and provide vocabulary practice for reading, writing, and hearing and understanding French.

The Bad: The download is very large and can take a while if you are using dial-up. This is minor as Rocket French is by far the best way to learn French without a personal tutor. In the program, I had trouble scrolling down with a mouse wheel, but this could have been a problem with my mouse. Forward and backward buttons are part of the program, so this was not a big deal, just a minor annoyance.

The Bottom Line: Rocket French is an excellent way to learn the French language. Lessons are very in depth, yet easy to understand and will help you to learn French. Advanced lessons are included as well so that you can continue your learning. Members will also benefit from the members area. This is an exceptional product for those wanting to learn with flexibility and interactivity.
