The most extensive collection of abdominal workouts is included in this e-book, even the workouts that are bad are pointed out in this e-book. However, the proper steps to attaining a six-pack also include proper diet and lifestyle, and this e-book does not specifically point out proper nutrition.
The book also delves into the subject of supplements, which ones work and which ones do not. Also, each workout has extensive photos that show the reader proper form and technique for maximum gains. Not only that, it exposes the myths of abdominals. This part really sold me because it exposed many myths that I believed to truly develop abdominal muscles. Also there is a 15-page section on general Q&A’s about abs that really delved a little deeper into the mystery of the six-pack.
The Bad
The focus of the book was on workouts and not diet. There could have been much more information about proper diet. The upside of this however, is that he throws an excellent bonus into the mix and gives you a book about the nutrition of great abs.
The Bottom Line
This book should have been labeled extensive work out guide for abdominal muscles, instead of Flatten Your Abs. I believe it should because it is just that, spiced with a little information about diet and the science behind abs. It exposes some of the most popular myths that almost everyone has encountered. Also, it included a relevant 15-page section of popular Q&A’s about abs. If you want solid information and a diet plan, check out the number one product, The Truth About Abs.
