Detailed Ratings

The Good: Joana's 1-70 Horde Guide was made by someone that has been the first to 60 on 6 different servers. The guide replicates the exact way it was done. There are numerous beneficial features to Joanas guide. The guide can be viewed in different formats including HTML with links to the quest explanations, or the PDF can be downloaded and printed off. There are maps included with the steps numbered, and the path one needs to take to get to each step. Also included is a resourceful list of general tips to aid in the World of Warcraft experience. There are some helpful hunter specific tips included. This is because a hunter is the character Joana mostly uses. Joana has even recorded videos of how to do the entire guide. The videos plus the maps make it much simpler for the less experienced player to know where to go and what to do next.

The Bad: There are few weaknesses associated with this guide. A little more detail about how to complete the quests would be helpful. There are a few times during quests in which the guide instructs the player to do two quests simultaneously; such as kill mobs for one quest while gathering something from them for another quest. Clearer explanations for these times would be helpful.

The Bottom Line: All in all Joanas 1-70 Horde Guide is very good. The sales page definitely tries to impress everyone by showing the speed of Joana's leveling ability. Do not get too excited about this though. He is one of the fastest in the world, and even a guide following his exact steps will not make everyone as good as him. With Joana being among the fastest in the world, it means that almost everyone, no matter his/her experience, will be able to gain useful knowledge from this guide.

Team iDemise is a professional gaming team that decided to go to work developing a guide for WoW. They did a great job and offer the a very innovative map mod.	Joanas 1-70 Horde Guide was created by one of the fastest levelers on WoW. It is definitely a very fast guide and shows the exact path he follows. Joana's is one of the first guides available, but it unfortunately does not feature a map mod.	Brian Kopps 1-70 Alliance Guide is fast and very well detailed. It does not come with the innovative map mod that others now have. Overall it is a great guide, but could be a little outdated.	Elite WoW 1-70 WoW Guide was created by a small team of players that have been playing WoW since it first started. The team at Elite definitely know how to play WoW efficiently. The guide is very aesthetically pleasing.
