Detailed Ratings The Good: Team Idemise's 1-70 World of Warcraft leveling guide is the best bargain in the World of Warcraft guide market. The first thing noticed is how well written the guide is; it flows fluently and has no errors like most guides. The guide levels players quickly. It has players doing all the right quests and not out grinding. The in-game map mod is great. It has all the steps and quests in the game, which means no more alt-tabbing out to read the next step. Players are even able to set waypoints to quests that put an arrow overhead explaining where to go. There is also an HTML version so that the user can check off steps after completion. Instructional videos are also offered to show how to do many of the quests. Members can even e-mail the team directly for personal help. The Bad: The only downside to this guide is that it is Alliance only. This means that a vast number of players will not be able to use the guide if they utilize Horde characters. The Bottom Line: Team iDemise definitely offers a great guide. They were the first ones to create the in-game feature of the leveling guides, and that kept them on top for a long time. Their guide is not at all a bad choice, in fact it is an excellent guide, but Zygor's has it beat out since his redesign.

IncompleteWritten by John Detailed Ratings Ease of Installation & Setup: When I first purchased this guide there was no self installer. it consisted of 2 zip files. You had to extract the group of folders within the first zip to your interface/addons folder. Then you had to unzip another file into one of the other folders you just unzipped. But, you're not done yet. Then you have to open your map in game and click an icon, then click options, then click this tab, then click this import button, then click this other import button. The installation instructions on the site were riddled with errors, just as the guide itself is. Not easy to install at all.Features: The features themself are great. Too bad they are from someone else's hard work. Metamap was written by a team of individuals and Idemise used it to create the guide within the notes you or anyone else can create within metamap. The waypoint arrow, markers, and ability to create waypoints and notes has nothing to do with Idemise. Ease of Use: Once you go through and figure out how to installthis guide, and if you don't have trouble getting the steps to show up, it works great. That is, it works great until you arrive at apoint in the guide where there is a missing step, or it tells you to complete a quest you were never told to pick up, or doesn't tell you where to turn a quest in at and the waypoint marker is wrong. This guide was advertised saying you would never have to alt+tab out of the game. I spent quite a bit of time alt+tabbing out to try and find out where I was supposed to go next because of all the errors in the guide. Content Quality: As you can probably tell from my previous comments, the guide was written poorly. It was also advertised as a complete 1 - 70 guide. I had purchased this guide somethime around Oct or Nov 2007 and at thattime it did not have levels 1 - 10 for any race and it was missing a huge chunk from 50 - 60. It was also advertised that there were videos and an html version as well as a pdf version. There were only 3 videos and they were for really easy quests, but eventually the videos were taken down, but still advertised. The pdf version no longer matches up with the mapmod version, but it did have levels 50 - 60. Hey wait I thought this was a complete 1 - 70 in game guide? /sarcasm. The Good: When there aren't errors, and they are all over the place, it makes questing easier. The Bad: As of right now, the guide is compelte from 1 - 70, but looking at the forum both 1 - 10 and 50 - 60 are riddled with errors just like the rest ofthe guide. I have seen post ofter post about people requesting refunds. After all there is a 60 day money back guarantee right? These people are getting no replies at all and has been more than 60 days and they still can't get their money back. The Bottom Line: Don't waste your money Would you recommend this product to a friend?: No

Very Good GuideWritten by Josh Detailed Ratings Ease of Installation & Setup: It installed very simply, and, even though I did not have any problems installing it, other people did have trouble, which was quickly resolved on the forums.Features: The way the mapmod puts the dots on the map so close together is a down for this guide, but it seems to be the only problem I have seen, other than no horde guide has been released yet. Ease of Use: It is incredibly easy to use, I love every part of it. The Good: It is awesome in every other way. The Bad: No horde, and the dots on the map are too close. The Bottom Line: This guide is the best you can get, it beats all others, for its simplicity and ingame use. Would you recommend this product to a friend?: Yes

50% Satisfaction guaranteedWritten by Alex Gunterhauft Detailed Ratings Ease of Installation & Setup: Easy to install and setup. Probably even more easy now since they have an ".exe" installation.Features: Add-on, pdf file and a forum. The Good: TeamIdemise came up with an idea, where you would not have to alt tab out of WoW to look for the steps. The Bad: Be warned: A lot, a lot of mistakes on this guide!! Mistakes such as typos, missing text in quotation marks for quests, and what bothered me the most inaccurate or missing steps. The guide would tell me to pick up all the quests at or near gryphen master, i would then go do them, then further north it tells me to turn in a quest which i don't have yet since it is a chain, so now i have to waist time running back to gryphon master turning in the quest and running all the way up the map, all because they don't mention that in the guide. Forum staff, very rude people, i have read some posts where the forum admins talk to the users as if they are stupid. Really bad service in my opinion. The Bottom Line: If you Go through the guide once, it will be much easier for you to level your second character because by then you will know most of the mistakes on the guide. Don't expect a refund, don't even expect a reply. When i got this guide, it wasn't even finished! 1-10 was missing so was 50-60. 1-10 is still missing today. "1-70" If this isn't what you call fake advertisement i don't know what is! Would you recommend this product to a friend?: No

Daman breaks it down for ya.Written by Damian Detailed Ratings The Good: Idemise really took the idea of a leveling guide and ran with it. The whole built in feature makes this guide above the rest. I used some trials of other guides and it just didn't add up to the convenience of the Idemise guide. The Bad: The in game part of it can be kind of confusing at first. The Bottom Line: Once you get everything figured out, this runs like a charm. I leveled up faster than I have ever been able to before; this saved me so much time. iDemise should be on topWritten by Sarah Detailed Ratings The Good: The map add on in iDemise is quite simply amazing. All of the information is right there in the game with you, all the other guides I read about, you have to alt tab out. I was able to lvl so fast, I just couldn't believe it.The Bad: Well, by only offering to use Alliance, they are leaving out a huge amount of players. But that is fine with me, all the better for Alliance players. The Bottom Line: iDemise is a great investment. It does not matter if you play WOW a lot or just every once in a while, you might as well be very productive when you play, and this is the way to do it. The price is very fair considering how much time it saved me. Would you recommend this product to a friend?: Yes

Do not offer refund as stated.Written by Kall Lee Detailed Ratings Ease of Installation & Setup: The installation was a little tedious and not straightforward for someone who hasnt installed mods before. You are taken to the set up page but the told to install a different beta version after an initial version so this takes you to another page, so you are left wondering if you have done this correctly. Putting all versions on same page, clearly stating which is needed would be much better.Features: Features are very good, lots of hard work went into the guide Ease of Use: Quite easy although the guide is a little contradicting at times, especially alongside the map. Content Quality: This is ok, but unfortunately there are some typo errors. Some of the waypoints were missing numbers. a 9.23 when it should have been 19.23 when looking for a scroll for example. The Good: When loaded correctly, the map works reasonably well by itself. Lot of details on the pdf guide - again, by itself. The Bad: Map contradicts pdf guide. Typo errors. Tedious installation. Too much running around for low level characters, which seemed to waste a lot of time. Being sent into areas and dying a lot due to the number of mobs around when sent to certain locations, not easy for a single player. The Bottom Line: Overall I can see the guide took a lot of hard work but it didnt suit my style. I have previously used another guide for the horde side and it worked fine, no problems but this seemed to be like ice skating uphill. I sent a long email explaining my lack of understanding of the guide to idemise but received no response, no help. I then asked politely for a refund - again no response. So, be aware of these issues and if you can use your initiative, then you should be ok with this guide, but it sounds like its all set out for you but it isnt, you have to do a lot of the figuring out yourself, especially with incorrect waypoint details and the confusing pdf/map issue. Good luck, you will need it. One thing doesnt work for everyone right? I will move to a different guide whereas you may be able to work with this one. Unfortunately, idemise do not understand this premise, and if you dont like their style - tough, no refunds.
