Gold Secrets by Luke Brown is a World of Warcraft Gold Guide written by supposedly the most hated played on WoW. It is filled with a very large amount of content covering all aspects of making gold.

The Good
Every aspect of making gold is covered in Gold Secrets by Luke Brown. There is large emphasis on making great amounts of money at the Auction House. The guide explains the concepts for using add-ons to aid in your Auction House monopolization.
There are also some original strategies included; for example, once you are a higher level you can offer your service to tank for lower level instances. This is more time consuming and harder work, but it could be a nice change every once in a while. Another strategy was to help the people that have long and hard quests to achieve their epic mount. Basically, if you are a certain class, you can help shorten their quest time tremendously and they usually pay very well for it.
There are a god number of maps included. In the sections where the guide is explaining how to find a certain person, use your profession, or grind for drops, a map of the area is shown with drawings instructing you exactly what to do. Visualizing the process helps tremendously in understanding, so these maps are a big plus.
The Bad
Gold Secrets by Luke Brown will get you on your way to making gold, but it will not get you all the way there. The reason for this is that it is not a very detailed guide. There is a boat load of information and content, but the details are not very specific. All the right concepts are covered, and will give people the right idea of what they need to be doing; but the ideas and concepts are not elaborated on. People want to purchase a World of Warcraft Gold Guide that is going to be specific and show everything they need to know about making gold. I also did not like the physical appearance of the guide. This wouldn't be a very big deal, but the design made it fairly difficult to read.
The Bottom Line
Although Gold Secrets by Luke Brown is filled with content and packed with ideas, it falls extremely short on details. You are wanting a guide that will explain everything you need to know, so there is no mystery and you can make some serious gold fast. There is one guide was truly the best at getting showing you step by step how to make tons of gold fast, and it is called Valkor's Gold Making Guide.
Guide would have been good MAYBE back in the 60s. With BC out, guide is outdated. Good ideas if you like to grind.
The Bad
I'll save you money - farm motes. There, that's the wonderful tips for post-BC money making. I tried asking for my money back, and after 8 emails, nothing was resolved, and I'm outta my real dollars.
The Bottom Line
Pass on this one. The supposed 'update' for 2.4 is a list of available quests on Quel'Thas. Send me $30 bucks instead for telling you to farm motes (as if you didn't already know).
