The Good: "Singing is Easy" is an easy to use interactive program that uses text and audio to teach the user the fundamentals of singing. It does a great job of doing so as the material included is very informative. Topics range from the anatomy of the voice, airflow, tone quality, scales, octaves, and vocal maintenance. These are only a few topics covered as each main lesson is divided into several sub lessons that break down what is being covered. There are 10 main lessons, so the material is quit deep and is well written.

Audio is included in the program that describes topics, gives examples, and explains exercises to the user. All of the audio clips are accessed with the touch of a button. They are good quality, and are used within the lessons as teaching aids. Review lessons and quizzes wrap up each lesson and round out the material for the user. By using each of these teaching tools, you will learn to improve your singing technique and ability.

The Bad: One thing that can be a problem is the size of the download. It comes as an .exe file and is 187 MB, so if you are using dial-up or have a slow connection, it will take a while to download. This is a forgivable problem, though, as "Easy Singing Lessons" is an interactive program. Also, the installation was tedious as it would not let me change the save location during the setup process. Although this may be a small problem, it still should not have been as tedious as it was.

The Bottom Line: This is a wonderful tool that can teach you how to become a better singer. Although it can take a while to download for some users, it is a great experience. "Singing is Easy" does not contain the "fluff" that some programs have as it focuses on material that is necessary to become a better singer and not just filler topics to make the material seem larger. It delivers quality information and nothing that the user doesn't need to know. "Singing is Easy" is one of the better singing products on the market.

It covers basic techniques tha will increase your singing ability. Although it is not professional tutor quality material, it does contain techniques that can be put to immediate use.
